Hieroglyphs of Years

Like Chinese script. These images are a mystery to me.

I've been repeating them hundreds of times now, on my daily notes in the Subway or just as a way to clear my head. It is an ordering which seems to approach a language.

I saw an Egyptian cow at the British Museum with Guston marks like Hieroglyphs.
